The Terex Corporation
The Terex Corporation started out as part of US car giant General Motors. The first Terex plant was in Hudson Ohio. Today the head office of this global construction and mining plant maker is in Westport Connecticut.
Terex Dumper Truck
Terex currently make a range of 14 different dumper trucks which are renowned for their power and versatility. The range includes mini dumpers, articulated site dumpers, four wheel drive dumper trucks and hydrostatic power tip dumpers.
The most compact Terex dumper is the HD 850. Weighing in at just 850 kgs it can fit through a 1 metre doorway and is capable of carrying its own weight. This incredible mini dumper can even unload its mini skip at a height of over 1.5 metres.
The largest Terex dumper truck is the Power Tip 10000 four by four dumper. The PT 10000 weighs in at over 10 tonnes and incredibly can safely carry twice its own weight. Not without good reason do Terex refer to this model as "the king of site dumpers".
